Hauser specializes in outdoor furniture, enhancing their product offerings meant learning more about how consumers shop for furniture online. With retail stores in Waterloo, London, Burlington, Toronto, Richmond Hill and Ottawa, selling online was the next challenge for Hauser. Transitioning all of the information normally found in-store allows customers to visualize products prior to purchase.

Taking a people-first approach to helping Hauser Stores with their online marketing meant updating Facebook and Instagram campaigns to better resonate with modern consumers. Targeted landing pages were established to improve product and environment relevance. Hauser staff were trained on best practices to empower them to make the most of their social media presence.
Transparency is a key factor for selling high end products online. When potential customers cannot see or touch the products for themselves, striking imagery, bold copy text and minimalist charts have to do the heavy-lifting. The Hauser product pages were redesigned to showcase more information about each product. A custom metafield integration was created to allow Hauser staff to input information into a consistent design without the need for complex coding.
A custom solution was developed to allow designers and contractors to easily download tear sheets from each product page. The individual tear sheets are automatically generated for each product through use of a Shopify template. The browser's native print to pdf functions allow the tear sheet to be created without the need for an expensive Rest API or any download caps.
Allowing the Hauser team to better serve their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic meant creating a new and better communication channel. Having access to a design expert to assist in the decision making process increases customer satisfaction and introduces the opportunity to highlight additional accent products.
A custom Shopify collection template was developed for the sale landing page. The template integrates collection links with breathtaking product images to improve user experience when seeking specific types of products. The sale landing page increases the effectiveness of targeted advertising efforts by allowing users to access more relevant sections after clicking a targeted ad.
